1. About VeeBa Ghana

1.1 Who We Are
VeeBa Ghana is a technology company that provides a platform connecting users with various services. Depending on the service, it may be provided by VeeBa Ghana or a third-party provider. When a third party provides a service, VeeBa Ghana's role is solely to link you with them, and we are not responsible for their actions or omissions. Any liability for such services rests with the third-party provider, who is not an agent, employee, or staff member of VeeBa Ghana.

1.2 What We Do
Through our platform, VeeBa Ghana connects you with vendors ("Vendors") to order a variety of goods, including prepared meals, catering, beverages, non-prepared food, and other non-food items ("Goods"), for delivery. When you place an order ("Order"), VeeBa Ghana acts as an agent for the vendor to facilitate, process, and finalize the order, and then either we or the vendor will deliver it to you. Vendors can be third-party owned, affiliated with us, or directly operated by us. For third-party vendors, we are authorized to accept payments on their behalf.

1.3 How to Contact Us
For customer support, please use our in-app chat feature or the Help Center on our platform.

Except for fraud or abuse not caused by you, you accept full responsibility for all orders placed under your VeeBa Ghana account.

2.2 Delivery Information Accuracy
VeeBa Ghana is not liable for delivery issues caused by incomplete, incorrect, or missing information you provide. You are required to provide complete, accurate, and truthful information, including your delivery address and contact details, for proper order processing.

8. Delivery, Pick-Up, and Vendor Delivery

8.1 Delivery Areas

Vendors offer goods in specific delivery areas, which vary. By entering your delivery address, you will see available vendors. Delivery areas may change or shrink due to weather, traffic, or force majeure.

8.2 Delivery Time

8.2.1 Estimated Delivery Times
VeeBa Ghana facilitates delivery to your provided address. You can choose "ASAP" or schedule a specific time. An estimated delivery time will be in your confirmation email, but actual times vary due to factors beyond our control (e.g., order quantity, distance, peak hours, weather, traffic). You can track your order's remaining delivery time under 'My orders.' Delivery times are estimates, and orders may arrive earlier or later. To avoid missing a delivery, ensure you or someone is present to receive the order once placed. For alcohol or tobacco (if applicable), VeeBa Ghana reserves the right to refuse delivery if you or the recipient is below legal age or cannot provide valid ID.

8.3 Unsuccessful or Failed Deliveries

8.3.1 Reasons for Unsuccessful Delivery
If we attempt delivery but cannot complete it due to reasons caused by you, including but not limited to:

  • No one is present or available to receive the order.
  • Customer uncontactable despite attempts via the provided phone number.
  • Lack of appropriate or sufficient access for delivery.
  • Lack of a suitable or secure location to leave the Order.
  • For restricted goods, the customer did not meet statutory age requirements, or the delivery rider deemed it unsafe or inappropriate for them to receive the goods.
  • We will contact you via call, message, or email to inform you of the unsuccessful delivery and next steps. In such cases, VeeBa Ghana reserves the right to cancel the order without refund or remedy.

8.3.2 No-Show Cancellations
If you remain uncontactable or fail to receive the order within ten (10) minutes of its arrival at your delivery address, VeeBa Ghana reserves the right to cancel the order without refund or remedy.

8.4 Wrong Order, Missing Items, Defective Goods
Upon receiving your order, if you find issues (e.g., wrong order, defective order, missing items), immediately contact customer support as per Clause 1.3. VeeBa Ghana may request photographic proof and/or additional information to investigate. If we determine that the order and/or goods are unsatisfactory, we will compensate you for the order or parts of it.

8.5 Pick-Up

8.5.1 Collection Process
Where available, you can collect your order directly from the vendor's premises ("Pick-Up"). Your email confirmation will state the "Collection Time." The vendor will prepare the order by this time, though reasonable delays may occur. The vendor will hold the order for a maximum of twenty (20) minutes from the collection time ("holding time"). If you fail to pick up your order within the holding time, the vendor is not obligated to provide it.

8.5.2 Risks for Delayed Pick-Up
In cases of unreasonable delays in pickup attributable to you, you bear the risk of damage, loss, deterioration in quality, or change in condition of the goods (e.g., temperature changes). You will not be entitled to a replacement or refund. You are solely responsible for inspecting the goods/order at pickup and must report any issues or defects to the vendor before leaving their premises.

8.6 Vendor Delivery
In some instances, vendors will deliver the order directly to you ("vendor delivery"). While we will try to provide advance notice, this may not always be possible. For vendor delivery, we may ask you to contact the vendor directly for delivery issues or delays. VeeBa Ghana is not responsible for orders or goods delivered by the vendor.

VeeBa Ghana may withdraw, amend, or alter any voucher terms and conditions without prior notice, effective immediately upon posting. VeeBa Ghana also reserves the right to void, discontinue, or reject any voucher use without prior notice.

9.6 Disqualification from Vouchers
VeeBa Ghana may, at its sole discretion, forfeit, exclude, disqualify, or refuse you or certain vendors from using vouchers at any time without prior notice.

Your exclusive remedy for platform use is to discontinue using it. VeeBa Ghana entities, their agents, representatives, and service providers are not liable for indirect, special, incidental, consequential, or exemplary damages arising from your platform use or any related claim. These exclusions cover damages for lost profits, lost data, goodwill loss, work stoppage, computer failure or malfunction, or other commercial damages or losses, even if advised of their possibility, regardless of the legal theory. In jurisdictions that do not allow exclusion or limitation of liability for consequential or incidental damages, VeeBa Ghana's liability will be limited to the extent permitted by law. Unless otherwise stated and to the fullest extent permitted by law, any claims against VeeBa Ghana by you are limited to the total amounts paid by and/or due from you for using the service during the event giving rise to such claims.

11.2.2 Disputes with Third Parties
VeeBa Ghana will not be a party to disputes or negotiations between you and Vendors, delivery riders, providers, advertisers, and/or sponsors, or any other third party. You are solely responsible for decisions regarding services and/or products offered via the service and/or platform. You expressly waive and release VeeBa Ghana from any liability, claims, causes of action, or damages arising from your use of the service and/or platform, or in any way related to third parties (including vendors, riders, vendor's delivery riders, advertisers, and/or sponsors) introduced by the service and/or platform.

Nothing in these terms excludes Vendor’s liability for death or personal injury resulting from Vendor’s gross negligence or willful misconduct. Where applicable, VeeBa Ghana’s role as a payment collection agent is purely mechanical and administrative, and VeeBa Ghana owes no duty of care or fiduciary duties to you.
